5 Star Forestry, LLC was started in 2005 by Michael Dominguez a service connected disabled veteran with 20+ years of federal employment. Mike has a wealth of knowledge and experience in forest practices and management. Mike has learned the best methods of his business from the planting of trees to fire protection. You can count on 5 Star Forestry to perform your forestry needs at a reasonable price.
5 Star Forestry, LLC currently employs 4 foremen and 45+ laborers, so no job is too big or too small. We have a large assortment of professional equipment.
Mike Dominguez (Owner) was raised in Asotin Washington, and currently resides with his wife and five children on the middle fork of the Clearwater River near Kooskia, Idaho. He is a volunteer EMT, firefighter and school board representative. He is also the president of the local youth activities organization and coaches several sports.
Juan Diez Fuentes (Crew Foreman) was born and raised in Mexico. Juan currently lives with his wife and children. His oldest son is currently serving in the US Army. Juan has worked for 5 Star Forestry since March of 2010. Juan has a work ethic like no other and strives to do the best at whatever he does.
Richie Ranson (Crew Foreman/ Licensed Chemical applicator) Richie grew up in California and moved to Kamiah in his early 20’s. He currently lives with his wife and 4 children in Kamiah. Richie has worked on many projects for 5 Star. There is not a service we provide that Richie hasn’t taken part in. Richie currently runs our fencing, landscaping and chemical application projects but if needed could assist in any project we have.
